If you like Latin music this is definitely your party!!! You get it all!!
I decided to celebrate summer my way!!! So I went to the Harbourfront (the most beautiful area in Toronto) and of course went on a Mariposa Cruise! I found the perfect cruise for me and all my people that love Latin music: the Salsa in Toronto Cruise Nights Cruise, part of the Salsa in Toronto Festival Week.
I couldn’t believe it included a full buffet of Latin food and it was going to be 3.5 hours long!!! Just playing our music… and there was going to even be a show!
The DJ did an amazing job, the music was so good, RICO! And for the first time I was in a party where there was actually lots of space to dance. The upper deck was the dance floor and was so spacious. We just enjoyed the nice breeze coming from the lake, it was so comfortable, I didn’t even get hot!
The view of the city was just SPECTACULAR!! The best way to enjoy the view of Toronto is from a cruise. It is unbelievable and our city looks so gorgeous!
I went with my husband who is not Latin, so I wasn’t sure that he was going to enjoy it. He loved it! Excellent food, amazing atmosphere, the service was impeccable and everything was very clean – who wouldn’t enjoy that!
The great part was that they started with Salsa dance lessons to teach the basics. By the time everybody started dancing, my husband was able to do it. He knew all the basics and it was so much fun!
When we needed to take a break, a show started. By that time, we all felt like one group, everybody was laughing and clapping and cheering and talking to each other, people became very friendly, the atmosphere was perfect!!
I shared my experience with my friends and now we are planning to go all together, hopefully next week. It is my new favorite thing to do in the summer and I will do it again because I will celebrate summer!!
If you are into Latin music, do not waste time, summer is too short and this party is too good. Just do it!
A big thank you to the Mariposa staff! We will see you again!
